My Posts This: Topic Forum | Sorry, but i do not agree with anything said here about t-rex...
First: I am not a chinese.
Second: I have money for buying a t-rex, a t-rex se, a raptor, or anything else, money is not the problem here.
Ok, now things are a little clear, lets start!
(A)
Everyone who buys a t-rex don't expect it is ready to fly, instead they know they will need to mount piece by piece, and, if doesn't fell confident to do that will ask for help from some experienced person.
Once the above is known as truth, people spend hours and hours adjusting their t-rex before flying, getting sure everything is ok before flying, what in fact is the right thing to do...
After spending hours and hours adjusting their t-rex and installing their own electronics, (yes, own electronics, since t-rex comes in the max with brushless motor and esc), they go to the field or any other place and start trimming the heli, again, if the person is not capable do that, of course he will ask for help from some experience pilot in this stage....
After getting everything sort they throttle up carefully and start the learning process (for first time flyers) or getting used to the heli (non-first time flyers).

Ok, now we have already talked about t-rex and how things work when u get a bird like that, lets go to the other side of the coin, walkera.
Walkera is SUPPOSED to be a ready to fly package, it trully calls for begginers.
now try to figure the following situation:
A begginer, looking for some heli to get started, see a walkera for a very low price, and it even says PUT 8 AAA bateries (when the right batery is AA eheh)... hm... it looks interesting doens't it? of course it does!
So, the begginer with no experience buy it, and, as it is supposed to be ready to fly, the begginer put in the 8 AA bateries, throtte up, CRASH!
Oh damm, walkera is a very big piece of crap, damm walkera!
So what we have here now? i know what we have here, we have now another person who is not happy with walkera products, and will write in every place he can he spent money within a piece of junk, he got frustraded, and many other negatives opnions.
I don't blame that kind of person, he got cheated, walkera said it was ready to fly when it was far away from some ready to fly thing.
Now, lets figure things another way.
U buy a #36 ou a #39, KIT ONLY, no electronics, no radio, no motor, nothing but a Bare bone.
Now, repeat all the process replacing the word T-REX for WALKERA #36 or WALKERA #37 in the text marked between (A) and (A+)
What will be the result?
Well, that's all i have to say.
I own a #36, i own a #39.
I got them and did every thing that MUST be DONE, spent hours and hours mouting, adjusting, setting everything up, exactly as i would do if it was a t-rex.
the results? well, of course the best ones!
i can say:
#36 flyes very, very well, but not so stable as t-rex does due its smaller size.
#39 flyes very, very, very, very well, exactly the same way as t-rex does.
Resuming:
* Don't buy a walkera product without having in mind u'll have to adjust it and spend a good time on it before flying. IT IS NOT READY TO FLY!
* if u want a heli to place ur own electronics, put in mind #36 or #39 is not just a cheaper way, but just another choice, there's not only t-rex in the heli world, u can get a shogun, u can get a x400, u can get a zoom400, or even a #36 or a #39.
Come on guys, it is already time to open our mind...
sorry for the long text, but i had to do that... |
