My first proper flight ended in disaster when I hit the blades into a wall.

It looks pretty bad at first, as the blades (still attached to the head) were detached from the Helicopter.

However, after stripping it all down, the damage was far less than I feared.

The only thing which were broken were:

1. Blades
2. One of the Rotorhead links (CNE002)
3. The Rotor Hub (CNE004A)

However the pin connectings the Hub to the shaft was slightly bent and the 'Timing Yoke' is not straight.. From what I can tell, the timing yoke, only holds the links in place and doesn't really need to be straight, so wonder if it needs to be changed.

Should I change the Seesaw/Timing Yoke/Pin (CNE007A) or should I wait until I REALLY break them?

Double check, triple check, make sure your main shaft is still straight. Something doesn't sound right here

The shaft looks totally straight.. I have checked many times and when its spinning, it looks perfect..

Too be honest, the timing yoke may have been bent before the 'crash'.. If you imagine that it has 4 prongs.. One of them is bent down slightly its not out of skew when its rotating, its just bent... Whist I don't know for sure what the 'Timing Yoke' does, I can't see how this will affect the performance or flight as it just seem to keep the 'links' in place.. Infact, it looks like it would still work if it were not there!!

What exactly does the "timing yoke" do???

I would just change the pin, seesaw and yoke, but Century (UK) have been out of stock of them since the end of January!

So, either have to wait for them to come into stock, or put it back together (with a replacement head) and see how it goes!

A HB V2 head or GWS mini-dragonfly head would work on your V3, but you would need the whole head. At least that will get you back in the air
