I have a Robbe Spirit LE. It came with a shaft drive tail, but with the small (2200Mah) battery I was running originally, gettin CG right was a problem, so I added lead weights to the nose of the canopy. I've ordered a belt drive system to change out the shaft.
I've since put a larger battery in, and have the heli ballanced pretty well, without weight so my question is, what is a better system, belt drive or shaft drive?
Any Pros / Cons please

I guess thats just a personal opinion. I had both and both worked for me, although the belt is 50 grams lighter.

I think the shaft works well if you use the Heliup one with bearings rather than bushes, as when the bushes wear, you can get vibes. The belt seams vibe free but I would suggest it has more resistance than the shaft from what I have seen having built both. Either way, each system works well once set up right, but my preference is the shaft drive with bearings.
