Hi,

I am just setting up an X3D and was wondering how you get the linkages form the servo's to the swash straight and aligned with the main shaft.

If I stick down the elevator servo so the linkage is straight with the main shaft viewed from the front and side then when I try to do the same with the roll servos, the roll servo's touch the elevator servo ?

Any tips ?

Thanks

Start with the 2 rear servos... either one.... servo arm must be at 90 degrees.... link must be 90 degrees to servo arm....once down... do the other rear servo... using the first rear as a guide.. once down... do the front ele... using the swash plate and rear servos as guides...

As long as the servo arms are at 90deg and links are at 90deg can the actual link go at an angle upto the swash ?

Mine I had the "roll" servo linkages strait at 90s but the elevator linkage a bit angled at first and it worked fine. But I think you can get the elevator linkage strait at 90 also by setting that servo in more or less diagonally like the others.

Cheers I'll have another go.

As long as the swash is level throuh out the pitch range it shouldn't be a problem.
