Cuda, you can get those skids for $8.50 each or buy them with mounting hardware for $30. I am thinking about putting them on MaxiR. What do you think?

3D Pro? I have only "1D" under my belt, what am I going to do with "3D"?

Just ordered a pair. Will try them out with my fleet and will report. Who knows, maybe they will fit the 3D Pro as well

Hi All,

My make buy decision is tainted by being an old fashioned swamp yankee. Watching the pennies in this hobby justifies the many, many dollars...somehow

Cheers,
Leslie

I can all most understand that logic, but then I came from a big family and being late for dinner meant you got nothing to eat....

G-F I guess the old cliche is true in this case:::::"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Please do not ruin the appearance of that MaxiR.

I just don't see the beauty in these struts.:o

CRB68, I guess if I tell you that I want to buy your belt tail conversion and put those skids on, you won't even sell me your frame then

It's all in the name of FUN. And the best part of being a Yankee is there is no wrong way of doing it, right

They are not the best looking things out there. But they don't look that bad either. They are sure different

Hi G-F.

I don't think you could get them on my frame. As I said, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder":)

Actually if you used them on the G-4 frame, it wouldn't look so bad if you like the "Taking a dump" look that is or is that the "taking a drink look"?:)

I'm with you crb68, it looks like the heli has sneakers on and they are way to big.... I like a bird with real skids or floats like they were meant to have....

3D Pro w/ MaxiR skids

look at this bird . I say the owner is very creative. 3D Pro frame, Blade CP body, and MaxiR struts/skids. Cuda, maybe that's the exact setup you can copy

Are the black (or smoked) t-rex skids available without the plastic landing gear? I can't find them anywhere, but then again, I wouldn't have found the gold ones if there wasn't a link posted directly to them. I can never find anything on GrandRC. I've bought a lot of stuff from them (motors, ESCs, etc.), but someone always has to give me link to them.
