Actually I see where you did get this off of the Quick of Japan web site. The only place where you will remotely see this heli in the future would be helicopterhobbies.com

Hello.

I dont know why this Quick 30 from Japan is not in World Wide Heli ??
If you have other helis from Japan (Q15,Q30,Q50..etc )why not this heli ?

I think it is the same that Quick 30 old but this one is new version !

Is the gear ratio on the quickie Q15..... 12:1?
If this is right, it must mean that if the motor(os.15cv-a) is at full power, 19000rpm, the rotor blades will spinn at 1583,333rpm.
Is this enough,or...?
I have read some place that the rotor should have around 1500rpm in hover and up to 1800rpm in areobatic.
Max 1500rpm sounds too low for me, can this be right? Maybe it would be better with a motor suited for cars, that have up to 30000rpm at full throttle...?
That would give the rotor a speed up to 2500rpm....this sounds way too fast, but do the motor actually run that fast? The rotor need more power than the car needs, doesn't it??

I would appreciate replys from the experienced. Especially those who have bought the quick themselves and actually flown it. Would also like to know what servos you choosed to install and how they hold up with the job. And finally, how does the heli preform?

Thanks

It's a long story and no need to go into it. It's been all over the board before. All is settled now and folks are happy.
