although im very new, im now looking for a 4th heli...can anybody post a pic of the qj-8 and the qj-16v2 togerther......im curious of the size comparison and i already know the qj is a very sweet machine...

would prefer it over the swift 16 which is larger but its plastic and again, for the extra money, id prefer the 16v2...im sure its JUST as good as the 8 in quality....

BTW: are there any other large electric heli's (not conversions) that anyone else knows of...NOT that mega buck thing

thnaks!

Here are some pics of the QJ8 and 16 together. I hope these help. The 16 is finished accept for ESC and batteries. The 8 has had about 20 flights with only one crash. They are mechanically identical except of course for size. By that I mean the mecahnics on the 16 although the same design are much larger than those on the 8. Plus, the skids are diferent (more conventional on the 16) and the tail boom on the 16 is black instead of blue like the 8. That's the only thing I don't like about the 16. I think it would look much better if the tail boom were blue. In fact, I am trying to find one or get Q of J to "blue" one for me.

Great helis and you just can't beat them for the price. It looks to me like the 16 will fly just as well and easily as the 8. I can't wait!

I am using the AXI 2826 motor and will be using 2 3 cell packs from I don't know who yet!! I will probably get them from Harold. He has a great battery deal going now for 16v2 owners.
