I do like the pics.
For the GY401, never use any trim or mix (No sub trim,No revo or anything else) with the GY401. The next time you start it up it uses the "new" centre, leaving you were you started.
MFIS, I have taken my heli from a warm car into 0 degrees Celcius, and there is no drift at all. The temperature compensation of a GY401 is almost perfect.
Begin with a gain in HH of some 60% and the same for normal mode.
Start up in HH. dont touch the heli. Go to normal mode and hover it against the wind. With youre trim try to get a staedy hover. Land the heli, but KEEP IT IN NORMAL MODE AND DON'T TURN IT OF.
Now fold the tail blades to eachother and measure the ofset of them.
Put the trim back in centre and turn of and on (on always in HH)the gyro. Put it in NM.
You will see a difference in the ofset of the tailblades.
Mechanically ajust the linkage till you have the same ofset.
Fly again and the tail should stay still.
Doeing it this way, you should be able to switch between HH and NM without the tail react. If not, the gyro is faulty.
