September 8, 9th, and 10th this year! Mark those dates off on your calenders guys.
Hello to everyone! Have we got a HELICOPTER GATHERING for you this year. Jerry Sudimick and yours truly OC Bob have combined our events to form one BIG shooting match to let it all hang out for you guys!
Jerry Sudimick of the famed East Coast Extream event and I, the luny OC Bob of OC's HELICOPTER GATHERING have combined our events. We did this just so we could produce one of the best dam RC helicopter events going this year. The HELICOPTER GATHERING will now take place near Atlantic City N.J. on September 8, 9th, and 10th.
Jerry is no stranger to many of you guys and certainly needs no introduction. He is a first class flyer, and a first class event operator. I OC Bob of course am crazy and should be avoided whenever possible. Fortunatly Jerry, and the HELICOPTER GATHERING event director Bob Stinson will keep me on a short leash. As long as I get food on a regular basis I am fairly resonable to deal with anyway. They should have very little trouble with me. LOL
Now with all that said, if you come the HELICOPTER GATHERING this year everyone can expect to enjoy one of the best RC helicopter outings you will ever attended. We will have many of the BIG monster flyers there to WOW your scocks off. There will be training and setup clinics. There will be decent prizes given away at the drawings. There will be a 1000. cash prize for the winner, or the last survivor, of the "DERBY".
There may even be an extra cash prize as well other then for the "DERBY". For example, there might be something along the lines of a surprise cash prize offered up for the best and most wild flight of the day. And if so you BIG hitters only get one try at the apple for this. If your engine don't start you are done. If you crash you are done. If you wack OC with your machine before your flight is complete you are done. Now, if you have the monster flight of the day, and then hit OC with the helicopter at the end of the flight, we might double the money. However, you will have to find me first before your tank goes dry. I will probably be hiding in a motor home we call the PLEASURE PALACE around here. No need to explain that one right? Or I better pur on a suit of armour for this one before you guys start your engines. Whatever the case you BIG dogs get ready. I think we will let you all just wonder what OC Bob has up his sleve for this one.
Jerry and OC aim to please. We will make this HELICOPTER GATHERING exciting for everyone who makes the trip. The HELICOPTER GATHERING is really what this hobby is all about. Just bring whatever you got, keep the flying safe, and the rules after that are there are no rules. Just have a great time.
So you guys know the dates and the place. All of you who attended Jerry's EAST COAST EXTREAM event last year, and the OC's HELICOPTER GATHERING events know this much already. This event will be non stop delight and action for everyone. Right from the very start to the finish, or to the very last crash. Which most likely I will perform for your enjoyment.
And of course I OC Bob will be there for everyone to poke at. Wait until you guys all get a load of me! Hope to see many of you there as always. Beginners, middle of the road experts like me, and you real BIG HITTERS are all invited. This is the one event of the year where we simply gather to have a good time, and to have real fun with our RC helicopters. The HELICOPTER GATHERING is a place to let it all really hang out. Hope many of you mark this weekend down to make it over to the HELICOPTER GATHERING. Jerry, Bob, and old OC promise you this. You won't be dissapointed you made the trip if you love RC helicopters.
