Hi Chaps

I crashed my Eolo the other week, (it hit the ground like a scud missile) and I pondered for a while to rebuild or not, well I thought stuff it I will go for a new one and fell for the Eolo Spirit Pro Limited Edition.
The thing is I had the Twist 37 in my old one which is trash now and was thinking of the Twist 33 for this.

Dose any one fly the Eolo Pro L.E with this motor because I no it is a good power source for the Eolo?

Ps.
Dose any one have any good Picks/Vids of an L.E we could all have a look at.

Cheers for your help chaps I look forward to hearing from you pip pip.

Hi Bighic,

I assume you will run the Twist 33 on 4s cells. If you have not already purchased one, the Hacker C40-9L is proving far more reliable and is an equivelent to the Twist 33, which like the 37 has a habit of demagnatising. I have a friend who has had the 33 (on his second due to magnet failure) and I have the hacker, there is no difference in flight performance.

Get the hacker 9L motor for sure, and I recommend strongly the Kontronic 40-6-18 or 55-6-18 controller. I would recommend the belt drive over torque drive. But that is not to say the torque drives are bad, just takes a bit to get all the vibration out. I have not tried my Pro SE with the torque tube yet. I have found the belt drive to be the easiest solution.

I would recommend buying the Spirit LI kit, then adding the metal QUK head block and swashplate. Also add the heliup top servo holder and triple bearing tail hub. Then I think you would have a nice heli. I am very fond of my eolos.

Yeah, Kontronic 40-6-18 is ideal. Re the drive, I have used the Heliup drive wire and this cured all vibration and I think it runs with far less resistance when compared to the belt option. Also, as Stet said the Heliup top servo mount and an all ali head is essential for a 4s set up.

I've got a spare 33 never used. PM if interested. I use it on 4s, but a friend had his demagnetise on 4s.

Take a look at the Lehner Basic XL. www.lehner-motoren.de

I talked to Jeremy about it

I would try it but it won't go with 3S which is what all my batteries are.

He seemed pretty confident in it.
