Merril,
Now that I read your post more thoroughly, (well your other post about the tail motor) to push the pinion on, a drill press or vice works quite well. Support the rear of the motor, trying not to put pressure on the motor terminals. Then carefully press the pinion on with the vice, keeping everything square as you can bend the motor shafts. (Don't ask how I know)

If you have any other problems let me know.

I know hate this Heli

Yep sick of it.
Had it about a couple of months. I have had it up and hovering without any problems at all. The only problem i have had with it is faulty parts. The first thing that happend was the Battery wire came off inside the shrink rap causing a big crash. My local model shop gave me some free blades thank god after i spoke with Paul from venom. Then I started having problems with my tail blade motor it would just stop or spin very quick causing the heli to crash. I tried setting it different but it did no good at all. Then after about 10 hours of flying time the motor burnt out so had to put another one in. And then 3 weeks ago it fell out of the sky yet again wrecking blades head stock etc. I have had 2 controllers in it both of those over heated when I say hot I am mean to the point of giving my thumb a bad burn. The Heli has gone back and that was nearly 4 weeks ago now and I still have not got it back. The shop has said that the distributor does not have the parts to fix it. Is that my problem NO.? What I have now done is bought a T-REX 450SE and its fab. I don’t want the venom back its not built to last and I have wasted so much time going back and forth to the model shop getting bits for it to keep it in the air when all the time it was not me that was causing the problem it was the heli. I would say that with buying it the mileage and the bits I have bought I could have bought another T-REX450 SE and that’s a fact. If I don’t get it back by the end of this week I am going to ask for my money back plus the extra battery I bought and the 4 sets of blades and seesaws’. If you want my advice save your money and buy a T-REX450SE V2 it’s just made to do the job. Sorry Venom I am very very disappointed with the 3D it started off great in the first couple of weeks and went down hill from there. I feel that I should have now been offered my money back or a new Heli.

Promoto,

I have flown the heck out of mine, and it has been a very good little helicopter.

No mechanical failures and no radio problems.

I am pleased for you

I wish i had been that lucky with mine.
But i have not. its cost me more then i should have spent in the first couple of months of haveing a new heli. I have since bought the T-Rex 450 SE and a DX7 both are fantastic the heli is a joy to fly i will never go back to these types of helis ever again.
I am trying to sort out getting my money back now.
I hope you guys keeping on haveing good luck with yours.
All the best Mike

vnr3d micro

not yet but it sure looks cool will get one or something very much like it after i get a little more experienced told that the smaller of a ccpm machine it is the more snappy the controls will be and my brief experience has showed me that that is very true of helis size does make a big defference on how easy they are to control
