I have one. So far i have used 16 gp3300's and they are really too heavy for this heli. It needs 6s lipos. I have a set of 3s 3700 flightpower for it when time permits i will use them. I had originally used the fun 600-15 motor as suggested by Robbe but it is not powerful enough for much more than basic flying. I have a Cyclon 1200 in now and it is much better.
I think the price has killed this heli as not many have bothered to buy one and i hardly ever hear of anyone flying them anymore.

we can never have too many, can we ?

It came to me with twin 6s2p prolites. Ran in parallel. I spooled it up last night with a 55-10-32 set up in governor @ around 65% and the heli felt great. I didn't tach it because it was at night. I'm hoping that I will be able to get parts if ever I should need them. Do you know a supplier?

for parts you can try Jeremy at rchover in the US or Alex at ercmart in europe.
I am glad yours goes good, i just find it too heavy for its size.The Swift and stretched logo 10 are lighter and feel it.

With the stock setup is an underpowered trainer ,i have one siting for almost a year thinking of trying a Tango 45/10 with 6S and 18-19 pinion.I dont know if the head design alows any 3D but it is a shame cause it is a quality heli.

Can I run a Mambo 15 from kontroniks with a 16 tooth pinion and 2 TP 6s2p 4000 maH in parallel?

The setup seems really easy on the batteries but the motor is reading temp in the high 180's after a 8 minute flight.

The power is comprable to a 60 or 70 sized nitro engine and I think it is only spinning 500 or 530 mm blades!
However, the tail seems to be over working a lot and I have not tached it because I don't have a tach yet.

I know, how could I be flying without taching the headspeed???

Well, turns out that it was spinning at 2450 and almost exploding. I could not locate a smaller pinion and traded for two blinged out trexes instead.

Run it on an 2-4S packs to the sides, I prefer it to my swift or logo10 with the same drive combo.
