I'd like to take some video at night .
Have some from the field with the guys
but I can't hold the camera steady lately, so
it is not enjoyable to watch.
Tried the tripod, which doesn't have a fluid head
so it is virtually usesless for video.
Did a good flightover my neighbors house this morning,
furthest it's been so far!

That bird flies like a dream... I'm hoping after I get an adjustable mixer gyro setup in mine it will be that easy to fly.... I'd try to pick mine out of the air like that but I think I would get my hand slapped several times before that happened.....

Tom..... No "D" flying....

I did have the stock 5 in 1 unit that came with the Hummer for a year but removed it a couple of weeks ago to test a Piccoboard Pro (with the H/Hold module removed). They both work as well as each other.

Skeeter, do you have a part numer for the 5 in 1? Can it handle 3S?
Part number for the Picconoard pro? If the HH module is removed, does it work in rate mode?

Thanks,

Balbs

Hi, no problem handle 3 cell,( try thp 900mah or Polyquest 850 mah) mine fly very good on 2 or 3 cell, you only need to adjust the revo-mix and your gain in the 5-1 module as you prefer.
Part # 5-1 unit CN2001-2

Hope this help..enjoy

balbs,
The 5 in 1 part number in one of my Century catalogues is shown as:
5 in 1 control board - CN2001A-2
and in another catalogue it is shown as:
Control Centre - CN2001-2
I think Century only do one unit called the 5 in 1. It looks like this:

It will work with any t/x. The unit comprises of:
1 x giro
2 x esc (main/tail)
1 x 4 channel r/x
1 x mixer (main to tail rotor mixing)

So far as the Picco Board goes, any of the three option will do. They are as follows:
1. Piccoboard (Standard) - Giro, 2xEsc, Mixer, 4 channel receiver - £49.99
2. Piccoboard (Plus) - Above plus Heading Hold Port and 6 ch. receiver. £99.99
3. Piccoboard (Pro) - Spec as 'Standard' plus heading hold module. £129.99
If you remove the H/hold module it automatically switches over to the built in standard rate giro.

I would go for the standard if you don't go for the 5 in 1. This is a pic of mine fitted with picoo Board Pro but with H/hold module removed.

Please forgive me if it's not true. But the more I look at the 5in1 unit the more I think it is the same as E-Sky's 4in1 unit. If they are we just found identical parts for cheaper

Why not? It's a 4 channel (later one's have got 6 I believe) receiver in there, just like and other reveiver
I use my Futaba T9CP Super with my Hummer, an advantage is I can set the endpoints and if you are coolice you can set exponential

I don't think JR will work though. I know JR Tx and Futaba Rx are not compatible, different shifts . Hopefully the Century 5in1 is compatible with both Tx.

If that's the case you'll have to stick with the Elite4 that came with it which is absolutely fine.
