I have begin this thread to show you the new electric heli I have bought, it is a Quick of Japan ep-18, main rotor blades of 550mm.
I have plan to go with 6s2p and 6s3p lipos.
The motor is a hyperion 4025/10.
You can see my galery for photos.
I am very happy with the heli, is an all alu one and machining and finishing of every part of it is supperb.
I am still finishing details before flying test but I wanted to share the images with you, hope you like it.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		today I finally flow the QJ-18.
I used two TP 3s3p 6000mah connected in series for 6s setting.
The pinnion on the hyperion was 20 T and the main rotor rpm were 1800.
It is a heavy setting and it flies very well, with good response and total autority, it stops and stay where you leave it. Nothing compare to my trex´s.

The hyperion 4025/10 got pretty hot ( too much to hold) and power was less than enought, it bog at full trotle to 1500rpm but I need to do more testing because I was only hovering arround today (rainy day here in valencia, spain).

I probably go to an acro motor or similar as gorgeous in another post sugested.
Thats all by now, the hyperion 4025/10 does not seem to be the way to go on 20T.

I tried the heli with an actro 24-4 heli and 19T pinion with maxamps 6s2p lipo.
It flies well but not power for 3d. will go to 8s or 10s as soon as money will not permit...

There hard to find but I personally dont like the blue.
