Looking forward to spending some time Adam with you and your father! It's people like the two of you that make IRCHA what it is. ....

Channel 36

Hi, I just read this post today, hopefully I'm confused and mistaken about this; I'm a new pilot learning to fly with Fury3D (Mike Swift in Groton, CT) and I just bought a new 9chps for my raptor on channel 36. This is my first IRCHA - actually, this is my first ever funfly and I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm on channel 36 and I can't afford a synth module and Rx - does this mean that I'm traveling 900 miles to sit on my butt and watch other people fly?!?!? Please tell me I'm mistaken!

You are not just goning to sit on your butt but if you want to go a head. They have a pretty good system over there to make sure everyone that wants to fly can fly.

Mis-read the post

I missed the part about the team trials being held on the three days prior to the Jamboree; my mistake (thankfully)! Looks like I'll be set for flying when the channel is availalbe.

What will be the policy for those pilots with microheli's (T-Rex's, Shogun's etc.) who are using the JR Spektrum radio's. Since there are no frequency numbers, I didn't know how they would be handled.

There is a separate area that has full hookups close by on the grounds, or you can park behind the pits if you don't need hookups. Get there early because the spots go as first come first served.

Good question. I'll be talking with Charles Anderson this week and will get an answer for you.

I was trying to register online, a head of time and I can't find a link on IRCHA.ORG.

Anyone know where to register online or has online registration already closed?

Ringo Ranger,

Thanks.

I did see that option. I'll wait and pay the fee onsite and pay my IRCHA renewal dues at the same time.

Other than getting to see demos from people you only hear about but can't wait to see..are there are any classes or seminars like on setup or etc... If so do you pay or register for the classes and pilot fees as well?

They have classes and seminars at Ircha. They will have them posted on a message board for days and time when they will have them. They start on Friday and go through Saturday. There is no charge for these. Just check the time of the ones you want to attend and show up.

See everyone at IRCHA,

Bill
