First Flights

today after a long wait for the fog to clear and in freezing cold.

Two things worth mentioning:

1. Its such a wonderful heli (Old news, aint it ). So smooth and so very stable, as they say 'its on rails'. This is the first time ever i flew a bit nose in. Felt very comfortable. I tried it with my other heli, but never had as much confidence.

2. The guy who owned the heli previously, did a lot to keep the heli in such good shape and tuned that, i had to program my radio and off i was flying. Thanks previous owner

One thing is for sure, i wont trade her for any other heli.
This week I will be getting a few essential bits which you guys have mentioned.

OK
Its been ages i posted here. That's because, this thing keeps flying without any issues .

Yesterday, i had the engine cut off about 15ft. I havent ever done autos!! Did manage to bring the bird down, fortunately over long grass. It did come down hard. The only damage..........

1 Ball link. Blades are perfect and even the spindle.. My club mates were surprised that i got away with no damage. Maybe we will have more Evos in my club

Congrats on the safe landing!

I recently got an EVO 50 and so far have had just over a gallon through it and I love it! already been looping, rolling, and a few funnels with it and it flies great!

Even a few of my mates who have raptors comment on how smooth the heli flies.

Thanks markj.
I guess i now have a reason to fly my Ornith/Tiger until i get the ball link. Its been gathering dust since i got the evo. Not that its not a good flyer, just that i like the Evo more.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your Evo. I flew mine for over a year without replacing a single part on it. The only reason I've had to do maintenance was a crash during a bad auto. Now that it's back together my Evo is flying just as good as it ever has .
