Toronto R/C Helicopter Club Fun Fly is Saturday September 21. The field is located @ the South East corner of McCowan Rd and Elgin Mills Rd in Markham, Ontario. Field entrance is off of McCowan Rd about 700' south of Elgin Mills Rd. Cold beverages & hot food will be available for a small sum. Prizes will be drawn for registered entrants. As well as planned competitions. Will Scott Grey be there again? I hope so. People with heli's please park next to the pits, others park next to the fence. I got a new noise maker.

Just took a look at the long term weather forcast, occasional clouds, low 18 and high of 27, winds 20kph. Looks like a good day to fly.

Brian and his brother are planning around 8am. I think things will get under away in ernest around 10:30-11:00am. BobOO was out this evening testing his heli out and getting some practice in.

Chris, that sounds like a challenge Guys it it raining saturday, will the funfly be moved to sunday as the winds will be way calmer then and i don't fancy flying in 20kph winds

Victor, Hehehehe......their loss.... Onward and upward!!!........check my post in "Dedicated Heli fields only", there are a couple of pics of a potential new field I found......it's HUGE!!!! And a really nice spot....I have the property owner's permission to fly there. I'm kicking around the idea of having a "Thanksgiving Fun Fly" in a couple of wks,( I will need to clear it with the owner first) the admission will be a minimum of two non~perishable food items that I will collect and donate to the Barrie food Bank.........How does that sound guys????

Well so far it's just an idea that I came up with today..... I was telling my wife about it this morning.....she says I should be carefull..."look what happened the last time you did a fun fly"!!!! Hehehe.....since there isn't a club there yet...who's gonna' kick me out??...ME??? I promise I won't kick myself out!!! No matter how successful the fun fly is.....LOL.....

Well I'm comming even it isn't just so nice in the morning, because it should be better in the afternoon. I assume that the draw for the heli will be tomorrow it the fun fly is still on. I got my ticket and am ready.
