Hello Fresh, thanks for the comments

I am using a TP 4S3P 6000mAh LiPo pack to power my Eco. With this motor and power I get at least 12min of flight time. I can still fly more than that, but with 4 batteries, it is too much time in the air... hehe. I'd say it can fly 15min easily, probably more.

I'm using a 14t pinion on the motor at 90% governor for a headspeed of about 1900-1950rpms.

Hello,

No I haven't tried 3-cell LiPo (lower voltage). I was actually thinking of going 5S2P, but I'd need to change motor.

I used to fly a lot on 10-cells (12v) though, before LiPos were out. It was a lively setup with a FUN600-15 motor on 21t pinion.

. I usually fly at the KSC field (KARS II) before going to work. During the weekends I fly either in the Melbourne area with some other heli fliers, or at the Canaveral Groves field. Where do you fly? What helis?
