ok ok ok
now when are we going to be able to get one of these?
i am hearing rumors of early next year is it true ?
i have heard that the production model is quite different from the pictures we have seen is this true ??

i have been told there will be a standard model and a SE version
any ideas anyone ??

please put mt to rest on this matter or i will just go and buy a Stratus and suffer the same tail box problems as everyone else...

What tail box problems on the Stratus? I have quite a few flights on mine and have had no problems. I do have the new grey gears. I did have lots of problems on the Spectra G, but I converted my Spectra G into my second Stratus, and still have no problems after putting a new output shaft.

a number of stratus models have broken tail shafts and there has been an update aparently to solve it, a new hardened shaft.

dont get me wrong i love the stratus and either of these models is far more capable than my flying skills.
i just want to buy a great heli,,,,,,,,,, i think i will end up with a stratus!!

Well Dale, after seeing one in action today, what did you think??
After Simons display, I though it looked pretty good. I liked the tail gearbox design. Looks pretty solid.

Well I'm surprised there's not a big thread about the Synergy demo at 3D Downunder. I'm sure a thread with a few pics and/or a video will pop up soon that will attract quite some attention

For those who read this thread.... Simon Lockington from www.littlerotors.com flew a Synergy at the 3DDU event in Bendigo, Australia. It was powered by a Webra which sounded a little cranky but seemed to get the job done. Simon didn't hold back either.

It was quite a surprise to have the Synergy turn up after TB not being able to make it to the event. Looks like a great model. Very solid machine while being very agile. Not super light, but very rigid. I imagine they'll come out weighing about as much as the Stratus. And if the cost is as low as was being suggested and the parts supply as good as the Australian distributor told me, then it may be a very popular machine indeed. Would be hard to think of a reason to not want to fly one!

Whilst I won't be running out to get one when they are released, if either the R90 or the Fury were totalled, it would be a hard choice between the Stratus or the Synergy.
As for the video, there should be one soon as it was only done yesterday at lunchtime.

Yes it did fly nice seemed to track well cyclic response was amazing to watch but that can be the pilot, but still it was very crisp with 4.8 vlot futaba 9255 servos !

solid construction and some great construction techniques

better than a Stratus ??? who nows yet

avalible VERY SOON I AM TOLD FROM A VERY GOOD SOURCE

price wise it is avalible in two verisons one a g10 and the other a carbon one

will i get one HELL YES !
i have 3dmp's helis so i do like some thing different...

hey i might even be able to get one before the Stratus is in able numbers here, and might not have to pay so much for parts...

who knows at this stage im am only guessing

I will let you know

Dale, it had 9252 servos in it actually.

Yes it was very crisp, but then it had a head speed of 2100+ so you would expect that!

Still very intriguing.

Go to www.archeli.com.au and then go to the Audio Visual Technical area and the video is in there under Expert flights to Music and Synergy video from 3DDU

The video is labelled Stratus but it is the Synergy. Trent just mis-named the file.

Bobby i just watched the video and it was not the best video i have seen and it certainly doesnt show what we saw of its flight capabilitys

who vidoed it ?

not that i can video well at all, i have tried and these helis are hard to keep a camera on and focused !!

you can hear Johno yelling Lower Lower when simon had it inverted low !!

was quite funny from where we were ....

Trent took them. Unless you have really good gear, helis are next to impossible to video in low light overcast days.
The video didn't show half of what Simon which is unfortunate. The Synergy will be out soon and everybody can see what they like first hand and more videos will be available.

I took some pretty average photos for our club newsletter, they are online here:

3DDU 2005 Pictures

There are a couple of the synergy with the canopy on. Did it ever come off?

Yeah, they took the canopy off later and there were lots of pics taken. I even got to heft it to feel the weight.
