mattijs-> first time I tried the tic toc, it "fell out" from vertical plane, ->looked slanted....
I've not flown outdoors for 4 months since.. using a cheap sim to keep the "idea" of hovering inverted and basic stunts. I've gotten a rough idea now. maybe I should ask what manuvuers should i learn now that I can do inverted hover, rolls and loops? Currently figuring how to piro-flip and finding the "gall" to hover low when upside down.
With regards to sim-training. I've wrote this before, but now since we're on this topic I'll share it again for the benefit of everyone reading. Lowering time factor and increasing wind speed really helped me to cope with the fidgetyness of the hornet. 3 weeks into regular sim training and outdoor flying 4 months ago, I found that I no longer had difficulty holding the hornet in considerable breezes. The only constant i found was that it was always more safe to have the hornet zipping around the skies instead of trying to keep it fixed in one place, hovering. I have been trying to convince friends and folks at the field before, that sim training should be difficult to handle instead of comfortable.... |
