Look at the Schulze 330d & 636 or the Orbit Microlader & Microlader Pro.

All are great for Lipos and can also charge any other cell chemistry, plus they're firmware upgradable so they'll support any future developments.

If all you want is to charge LiPo's then Thunder Power are just about to release a new charger which will have the best value for money on a cost/capacity scale.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Depends on what you want to charge. I have a Schulze 636 that charges my Tanic 10s3p Lipo's. However it is a very expensive charger if you don't need the ability to charge such large packs.

I once had a Triton but now have the best......Orbit. Yes it is alot of money but works excellent and is very easy to use.

It has all of the same specs and features as the Dymond I think. I only used it a about 2 weeks. It works great I just got the Schulze to do larger batteries.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I'm extremely happy with my Astro 109. It'll charge up to 9 cells and is very easy to use. It's also very cheap compared to the Orbit chargers, also it's upgradeable. In fact, if all you are working with is lithium-polymer the Astro 109 does just about everything you'd ever need for less than $120.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I am gonna chime in for the new Thunder Power 1010 charger and the 210V ballancer. When used in combination, you can charge prolite packs at 2C-3C. You can select a fast charge program which charges to 97% and cuts a few minutes off. Plus, the ramp up to fastest charge and ramp down towards the end tend to be pretty quick.

The CEO of TP has tested charging at 3C for several thousand charges with the Pro lite packs and they are coming out fine. I have been charging at 2C and can get a very good charge in 30 minutes. The balancer will keep each cell under 4.2V and communicates to the charger to slow down or stop the charge if there is too great an imbalance between the cells.

I needed to charge lipos at a high rate and the ICE goes to 8 amps for lipos, the Triton only does 2.5amps

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		May want to give the thunder power 1010C and 210V balancer combo for $299. This is the safest way to charge lipos I have found. You will need a 12v DC 25amp power supply. Buy a switching DC power supply if you can afford it. It will run cooler then a reguled power supply. For the budge buyer check out the Pyramid Dc supplies for a highend supply check out the BK Precision 1692 (40amp switching).

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		The size of the power supply you need really depends on what you're charging. If you're doing small 2s or 3s packs you don't need a 25A supply. Also, a switcher will get just as hot or even hotter when pushed near its limits.
