My Posts This: Topic Forum | As someone that has owned and built both (I disassembled the ARF stinger kit - I never trust an ARF), I can tell you the Raptor and Evo are both a better heli than the Stinger. But, they also cost more - you get what you pay for. The materials and workmanship on the Stinger are of a lesser quality then the Raptor and Evo. The clutch would grab upon startup and never let go, was also difficult to line up freely in the bell. In flight, the head did not wow me, it worked - but no better than any other heli I have seen. People claim that the Raptor has this pitch up problem - that problem only exists in: a) a heli that is not setup properly (especially with the flybar paddles and linkages in the head) or b) where the elevator linkage has worn a bit and there is too much play in it (this happened to me and upon replacing the link and tightening everything up, it went away). Anyways, for the money, you get a good heli in the Stinger, but it doesnt match up with the Raptor or Evo.
