Hi!
does anyone know if this jet ranger body will work with an Ikarus Eco 8? I'm sure there's a few mods that will have to be done, but is it close enoughto try or should I dump the money into the $140 Ikarus version? thanks!

Finally, mine version of JetRanger is here.

more in the gallery. This Jet Ranger have Hawk Pro mechanic with SE frame installed converted from Hawksport version. The muffler is the stock shuttle plus. the Rocket and machine gun are from the Night Ops AH-6.

It was in the air, but now it's on the ground. :)

frame is longer and higher, so you have to take the rx tray off and cut the opening for the rotor head.

I saw a picture of that Kyosho fuse..and I think the fuse shown here is a chinese copy of the Kyosho one. I doubt you can buy the fins separately though.

How do you keep the two halves fastened together?
screws?
How do you fasten the winglets on the tail boom?
epoxy? screws?
When you have to access the mechanics, how do you open up and service?
remove one half?

Hello all, I am new to the field but very interested in purchasing the scale jet ranger fuselage. Just one question, will it fit a raptor 30 v.2? Ok two questions, does it come with the tail piece? thanks

Burl, the 2 halves are secured with screws and the vertical fin is attached to the tail case the same way you would if you were not using a fuselage. No epoxy there. To get to the mechanics you unscrew the two halves, (and in my case I have to remove the head first because I am using Hawk mechanics.) It's not that complicated once you get everything set up

dejavu, this particular fuse did not work well with my Raptor unless I did some modification to the pitch arm. I did not want to do that and I had a Hawk and the mechanics just dropped right in with little problems. The fuselage is only $56.00 (unpainted) and a good starter for the money. It does come with horizontal and vertical fin. If you don't want to paint it Callie Graphics is your best solution

all work and no play= dull; all play and no work= broke. gotta balance!

The lettering are off the shelf vinyl letter sets from the stationary shop. I forgot the brand name but they are from Germany. I actual use the lettering as stencils. I apply the lettering before painting and after spraying just peel off the letterings and Presto !! It helps too that the fuse comes in white.
