My Posts This: Topic Forum | That won't work for throttle, you'll have very low rotor rpm over most of the range - the whole idea of the throttle curve is to keep the headspeed constant, you need a lot more throttle down low to accomplish that. A tach would come in very handy, you'll have a hard time without it.
Personally I use governer mode on my Phx 45, makes the initial setup much easier - let the controller worry about the rpm, as long as you've got a good setup in the first place (proper pinion for your battery & motor combo, plus the pitch range correct). |
