My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I have been flying my blade with stock setup for over a month. yesterday, I installed the enhancement kit mod with 1320 3s. 9 tooth motor was broken in before installation to reduce sparking.

After flying about 10 min., I was hovering about 15 feet up. suddenly the blade went out of control, and headed toward the ground. I was able to throttle down just before it hit. minor damage-main gear. checked the heat on the 2 motors and the battery. just slightly warm.

Has anyone else had this happen since switching to the up grade and lipos?
Never had problems with the stock setup.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		i have had no luck with lipolys higher than 900. Defineately fized my occasioal glitch by making sure the antannae wire is not run in stock locatiion. keep wire from wrapping around bracket close to the eeceiver. let it lay loosely in the air, then lightly wrap around skid, like stock.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I had been having the same problem with until I unwrapped the antennae. Seems to work much better. The only other anomoly I keep noticing is an occasional glitch near lawn equipment or cars passing by.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I could not stand the glitches, would not stand for them. I took my Blade back to the LHS after 40-50 flights. It flies like a dream, except for the glitching. I did everything I could short of replacing the 4-in-1. I replaced all motors, tried every antenna position, tried a base loaded antenna, tried a new Tx, and a new rx crystal. I gave up.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I noticed that my Blade CP started glitching after I installed the enhancement kit & lipos. The other day I configured my Hitech Eclipse 7 transmitter to work with the Blade and so far the glitching is gone. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays fixed.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I think that I cured my glitching by straightening my antenna out.
Tied it to the skids, ran it to the tail, and back to the skids on the other side. 2 flights, so far so good.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I am convinced that my glitching was noise from the ESC. There is nothing to do in that case but send it back. No amount of antenna twiddling or Tx swapping would help my heli. The Rx and ESC are jammed so close togther, literally in the same box - that you are at the mercy of EMF pollution from the ESC if there is any.

I have similar problems with Castle Brushless ESCs and every receiver brand I have tried, when they are close to each other as they usually are in small helis. I simply use a ferrite core on the ESC Rx signal lead to eliminate the ESC noise problem - it works great! I couldn't use this technique on the 4-in-1 though.
