The fuselage and mechanics were both built from scratch.
The model belongs to Al Doucette. Al was a crew chief on
a CH-21 during Vietnam. He is building a larger scale
version of the CH-21. We got a chance to see the only
flying full scale CH-21 at the Hiller Helicopter airshow back
