I have been flying the Blade now for a couple of weeks and I'm now looking for the next step up. What do you recommend? I can fly the Blade in forward flight do some loops and nose in hover. I was thinking of something a little bigger and something that will do 3D. But I don't want to spend a lot! I only spent $220 bucks on the Blade ( Best $220 I spent in the hobby) and it came with everything I needed. Is there any other helis that are a step up from the Blade that come ready to go?
I have seen allot of heli's on Ebay the Dragon Zoom and ARk. How are they? Thanks

do you want to stay electric or go gas? i would get some li-po batterys for your blade and the aerobatic kit and paly inverted. it will take you one more step if you set it up. get a shogun or trex if you want a bit bigger but more aerobatic. as for gas a 50 size raptor will take you too some good 3d with the right setup. PM me if you have more questions

Thanks guys for your input.
I would really like to stay with electric. Although I was thinking of a Raptor 30 that a friend is selling. I use to be a glow airplane flyer but have since sold all my glow planes for electric. I pick up the Blade from my local hobby shop just for the heck of it. It was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up! I never thought I would enjoy flying helicopters so much. I may have to sell some of my airplanes to get more heli's! I have been looking into the Trex and they seem to be running about $500 to $600 . I really didn't want to spend that kind of money right now. I guess I just got spoiled with the $220 Blade. I keep looking at some of the Ebay heli's. Are they just a waste of time and money?

I think you'll find a glow machine so much more stable you may enjoy it so much more.

Yes, they spew exhaust, but the additional weight makes them fly so much smoother. I have a Raptor 50 and it's a totally different class than the blade.

I can't comment on the other e-heli's as this is my first electric.

You certainly would want something with a driven collective pitch tail, that would also be in another class than the blade.
