With the weights in the heli will be very stable and slow on the cyclics, when removed the cyclics liven up a whole lot!

If you're a beginner, leave them in till you fell you want more response.

That's it - pretty simple really!

The more weight you the more it adds to the gyrosocpic effect basically it makes it more stable. When you want it to start rolling faster or make it more sensitive most people remove the brass weight because it weighs the most this will help with learing basic to light 3d then when your ready remove the lead weight for all out 3D/ quick responsiveness.

There are two weights one is brass and the other is lead. Do a search in this forum on paddel weights there is some good stuff to be read and its been covered many times.

I'd suggest leaving both weights in until you've learned more (ie.
a few months of basic aerobatics under your belt).

then just remove the brass weight. leave the lead in (it's very hard
to get out w/ damage and/or unbalancing the paddle).
