My Posts This: Topic Forum | If the crash costs exceed 50% of the kit price, I usually go for a new kit. This gives you a collection of spare parts, not the least of which are replacement bearings and hardware (which might not have broken, but which you'll want as maintenance items in the future).
It is VERY easy to miss one or two "additional" broken or damaged parts after placing an order to repair the heli after a crash. The extra cost of the kit is also insurance against downtime waiting for these parts. Sometimes you don't realize something needs replacing until you try to fly again.
You mentioned that your clutch bell and gears were destroyed. You'll need the Evo 50 kit, since those parts are different between the 30 and 50.
