i will be ordering an evo 50 tomorrow. its 365 bucks at heli-world and it comes with no muffler and no main blades. not a problem. i have both. my question is, is there anything i need to order with it that will make it better? and if so, can someone point me in the right direction of what and where to get it. thx

The Evo is really good right out of the box, but mamny people complain about slow tail response so I would order the Freya 18T drive gear 414-119 (I think).

Some Ideas

Upgrades:

CX Dampers - Transformed the model, a must have for all Sceadu 3D flyers.

EX washout base - Kit item developed alot of slop.

EX slide block/pins - To match the washout base. Not sure if I really needed it.

Delrin Main + Counter Gear - Std kit gears get very noisy, delrin gears run smoother too.

I use the first three and would definitely recommend them. The Delrin gears are nice, but I have not tried them.

Good luck, you'll love the Evo.

Personaly I don't like the stock tall landing gear, using Freya struts or tuff strut type gear is nice from an aesthetic/ landing stability point of view

I agree with Davo, I have the MAS struts. It's a little wide and lower to the ground.

Are you guys talking about 0403-930? (no blades and no muffler)

I got one in rcpowersupply.com for just US 325.00.

Really fast delivery and good service.

Happy flying.

i know why its really fast delivery, cause i would have to pay 68 bucks to ship it. the heli is 325 plus 68 to ship. ouch.
