Hi all
I joined the club last week with a sceadu 50 ,hyper.Wow after a galon without optimized my curves at all i can say it is the best heli i ever flown so far,a huge impruvement in precision and adjustability over my previously owned raptors.
I flew inverted circuits 2 meters of the ground and low flips from the second tank.
My question is if i realy need a governor and what do you suggest in order to improve my 3D .I never used one before and i dont now if it is any advantage in 3D flying.
My setup is OS Hyprer,Hatori 544 30% Coolpower.

a governer isn't a necessity if you have a radio with at least 5 point throttle and pitch curves and a little patience to set up aileron and elevator to throttle mixing, but it is handy, and works very well.

definately don't need a governor at all.

If you want to set curves up to suit you. I use governors only because I am too lazy to set up perfect curves. I have rough curves to get me back on the ground and prevent overspeeding in case the gov drops out. What i get is a stable headspeed 98% of the time. Rough curves.....about 10 mins to set up. Governor.......about 10 minutes to set up. Headspeed....constant. I like em.

I have a JR 9x and i am prety comfortable seting my curves,maby not perfect but i am lazy too.
Anyway i will follow Bud Eagles sugestion and burn more fuell ,there is not a substitude.

Beter fly with bud setup than setup and dont fly
