Guys,

I just noticed my tail is not 12 & 6 position (Perfectly Straight up/down).

I doubled checked and the tail boom & Tail assembly is locked into the groove.

Is this normal?

I understand there were a number of tail booms where the alignment slot was cut wrong.

Contact Jeff Green (MRC-Hirobo) to arrange a replacement.

In the meantime, it should fly OK with the few degrees of offset.

Pull the tail assembly and see if the alignment groves are straight with the front groves..................if not, then your boom is twisted........and /or misaligned

change it........

and why not? A few degrees offset on the tail will not cause serious trim or flight-performance problems unless you're doing precision maneuvers.

At most you'll need to use a bit more fore/aft cyclic correction compared to a perfectly aligned tail. Some full-scale helis (Blackhawk for example) have an intentional tail rotor offset.
