I am new to electric helis. I see this Eco 7 Jet Ranger fully assembled with radio for $739.00.

Does anyone have one of these and how do you like it? I was reading it only has a 4CH radio? I am assumming that this is a fixed pitch model.

Any comments about this would be appreciated!

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I haven't got one but its a big 1 metre class CP bird...all the mixing is done on board the heli through what they call a 'gigatronic' which is just all the electronics stuffed onto one board so you can get away with a 4channel. I believe you can set the gigatronic up via a pc-link so you can run it with a computer radio. Note also that it has a motorised tail...basically a piccolo main motor sat on the end of the boom. Seems to fly quite well from what I've read.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Well I have been doing some reading and acutally seen some videos both made by owners and Ikarus.

The cheapest I found it was $659.99 at FXAeromodels for the one I want which is complete assembled with TX.

The only disappointment is that in Ikarus's magzine advertisements and on their website they show a beautifully decal SCALE looking JetRanger. According to a guy from FXAeromodels it comes in a goofy looking scheme which has Eco 7 and "Sky Taxi" Thats gay.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I HAVE THE ECO 7 JET RANGER. IT IS A 4 CHANNEL FIXED PITCH HELI THO. IT IS 36.6" LONG,HAS A ROTOR DIAMETER OF 37.8" AND WEIGHS 3LBS. IT FLIES REALLY WELL AND LIKE A LARGE GAS HELI. I GOT MINE AT RC WORLD RTF FOR $500.00! IT NEEDS NO ADJUSTMENTS AND HAS A VERY NICE BLUE AND GRAY POLICE TYPE DECAL SCHEME.
