Dear all,
A tail rotor blade shot out in my 1st test flight last evening !!!
The tail rotor blade broke clean sharp at the screw hole. Photo later.
Can find the 2 pieces inside home.
The 3mm steel tail shaft was torn to bend under high RPM & unbalance,
after close examination. Tail case anti-rotation stopper is broken also.
DIY drill a screw to fix it.
motor - Align RCM-BL400L (2500kv only)
pinion - stock 14T
flight pack - 3s 2200mAh
ESC - Hacker Master Heli 40-3P (60% GOV mode)
Amazing !
Shot out even at 2500kv + 60% GOV mode
Go back to manual, main:tail gear ratio = 1:5
It happened on first launch of T-REX.
Same hazardous problem in x400 again !!!
Call back to shop & they knew the same problem happened in others (HK).
Luckily, I always point my helis' tails out of myself at all time because nothing is 100% reliable.
Now, installed TREX's revised tail blades. x400's material for tail blade seems harder & high density but brittle.

Sincerely recommend x400 fliers to change tail blades NOW.

Still testing it.
It is quite Ampere eating even at 11T.
Need to try some other timing or config.
