I probably know the answer you folks will give me here, but I still need to ask. I own the Venture and have pretty much worked out the bugs on it.A great local hobby store just opened up and he specilizes in Hirobo helis and of course, pushes the Hirobo products.Several guys at my club also fly Hirobos and really don't care for my Venture, or CCPM. I just wanted to know if anyone else might also have a Venture and could give me a comparison. I really am thinking about getting a Sceadu Evo, but just wanted to hear one last time from you guys.

By the way, will a TT 39 fit in the Sceadu? I have a brand new one laying around, not doing anything. Thanks.

Hi firestate !
If u want to compare it to evo , I think u better go for evo , don't mean that the venture not good
Just because u heaven't fly evo yet , I think u will like it when u have one , and u can compare them when u have both of them .
I think u can ask for BTDT and other guy's they can help u to figure it out .

Like Jeff said night and day. I started out with the venture, good machine to learn on, especially if you're out in the sticks with no one around to help. Once you're past loops and rolls and EVO is gonna feel MIGHTY nice. Thinking the TT 39 will fit. Throw a MP or similar on it and find some 570mm blades. You'll love it! I guarantee!!!

Hi Guy's !
Your right Jr is a good product but EVO also not bad
If u choose Jr that mean's u need to put more buck on it $$$$$ , spare also $$$$$$$
If u just learn to fly like me , u better fly EVO or raptor , cause price is matter's $$$$ man $$$$

Hi firestat!

Your engine should fit. The only different between the EVO30 & EVO50 is the linkages. The EVO50 has push pull setup and the EVO30 has one rod setup. See pages 35 - 40. Size/Parts are the same except the blades and linkages setup. On the 30, the blades will be a little shorter.

Can't comment on the JR Venture. Never had it. I've got a JR radio for RC Cars and is very good.

JR Radio for heli I hear is good. See what other pilots in your area is using. If your having a problem setting up the radio and want help locally, it's best to have the same type of radio they had, so they can helpout programming it.

That's not exactly true. There are some other differences. The gear ratio and motor mount are different. My EVO started life as a 30 with a TT39 and it fits just fine. I have since upgraded it to a 50 (there is an upgrade kit available for about $70, but it doesn't include the push-pull linkages. Those have to be ordered separately).

I had a Venture 50 for a little while, too. I flew it about a dozen times. It's a good helicopter and I liked it, but it's in a different class than the EVO. The Yugo/BMW comparision is a bit of an exaggeration, however. Think of the Venture as a Ford and the EVO as a BMW. The Venture isn't exactly bottom of the barrel, but's a cheap helicopter with lots of corners cut. It flies well, but can't be compared to the combined agility and stability of the EVO.

I don't know about the Venture, but I have had a Raptor and a Caliber. The Evo out classes them all. I like it so much I'm selling off everything else to buy a Freya X-spec.

Just to finish this up, I got the Evo, and can't believe the difference in quality, it has it all over the Venture. I still have my Venture, but it will be my second chopper. Thanks all who contributed.
