well ~~ the bog is NOT as bad as you think!!!
3DMP fly 14 pitch stock !!!

he is using Tango 45-08 with the 600mm GP4 Carbon blade
(made in Japan but not popular in North American)

i am planning to go up with C50-12XL
+ box if the Logo can go over 14 pitch like 3DMP !!
i may replace the 138T with the 96T old Logo20 Gear / 8T opinion
in case the 50000rpm C5012XL run over 2300watt and blow the main gear!!

when i get upgrade that i will put the Eagle Tree and see
what kind current draw under it!!

looks likely now i have reason to get the new
18C Pro-Lite Plus or Pro Power battery later !!

um yeah, i have a 3DMP with a tango 45-07 and 10S2P prolites. i KNOW it would bog like crazy on 15 deg of pitch. heck it'll bog on 12 deg if you push it really hard.

well Jan told me he fly 14 pitch and the rpm will drop to about 1700rpm
which is not too bad.

i believe if they design the head to go that far must be for reason !!

another thing is thats why we need 18C Lipo pretty soon !!!

yeah, actually that sounds about right. the HS probably drops to 1700 or so at 14 deg. i agree that the 18C cells will kick a$$ in both of these helis. i kinda wish i hadn't just sunk $800 into 2 of the regular prolites!

the link got rr'ed.
here is a post from charlie wang about it:

We just tested A new fomular for the 2100S, we may call it ProLite plus.
Energy densiry: 2800Whr/Kg
Power density: 170Wh/Kg

This cell has the same weight and dimensions of Gen2 2100
Deliver up to 38Amp continuous, we may rate this battery at 17C or 18C

Due to the high energy density, it deliver more power than any 20C cell and have much more run time for the same weight.

Regards,
Charlie

and then this also:

I will update info of the new cell, usualy take 2 months for safety tests and field tests Then, we prerelease few thousands cells before mass production.
Yes, good news for E-Raptor

Regards,
Charlie
