My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I can't seem to find a EC120 or EC130 so I am leaning towards the Vario Ecureuil kit.

The scale 3 bladed Vario head with the SkyFox mechanics should be a sweet combo. I wonder if I could install an OS-91 in the SkyFox, can you change the gear ratios and fit the 91?

I plan on making it fully scale and worry it might weigh too much for a 61 engine and I really don't want to go with a gasser at this time.

How is this kit? Has anyone built it, if so how was it?

I've got the Ecureuil kit. I haven't really started building it yet, so I can't comment on construction, but I find it to be just like my Jet Ranger which was very high quality. I'm putting the benzin mechanics in mine and using the 3-bladed head. Volume wise, the fuse is big enough for the Xcell mechanics, but as to whether or not they'll be able to lift the weight, I'm not sure.... If I can answer any questions or provide pics, let me know....

You need to get in touch with Hobbytime north of Dallas...He just got a OS91 going with the 3Blade rotor on a Skyfox....According to him, its sweet, plus he says it flys fine without the gyro on the head...He made some mods to the head to do it...

Mark, I'm not sure I want to go petrol on this one, I dunno, still undecided over that issue... I do like the Vario 3 blade head and I really want a scale head and cockpit on this ship if I ever get a chance to build it.

The petrol is tempting it seems as though the petrol version allows for more room up front for a scale cockpit. I may need to go that route and I do like the operating costs and simplicity of a gasser.

I was thinking about X-Cell mechs but wonder about whose 3 bladed head I could use to fit the X-Cell.

Raymond, The Sky Fox with the .91 is a good way to go!
Since I am not smart enough to make a Rossi run.

The OS has plenty (more than enough) power and is very easy to tune.

Let me know if you need any info....

I built both with vario mechs. i fell that a xl could be made to fit easely. you would just need a custom main shaft built. yes, you can change the gear ratio in the sky fox for the os91. my second one came in at 10 1/2 pounds. flying weight..... no lie!!! i'm doing the vario bk117 now.

ps.. the rossi is a great running engine.. but you have to break it in right. then it will tune as easy as a os 91
