I guess for usuall flight (Normal) 7 degrees are enought.. maybe 9.
For 3D, this type of Helico can be improved to 11 degrees. . .
Need power, can burn too. . . but you know it. .

I set the pitch at 7 degree (full throttle) with 305mm Alignrc wood blades. The lift was quite impressive, the heli was steady on hovering, the motor wasn't as hot as before, and the flight time with stock battery lasted more than 5 minutes. In the past with stock foam blades and stock battery, the longest flight time was about 2 minutes or sometime it didn't want to lift off.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I cannot see why you had only 2 minutes of time on foam blades. I can keep mine going for more than ten minutes easily on stock everything. Your battery may be suspect.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Well, my #35 finally arrived here Saturday. I put the LiPo battery on my Triton to charge while I check over all screws and etc... on the heli. To my disappointment after I installed the the battery all I get is some noise with the servos nothing move at all with the TX. I'm wonder is this just bad luck or just some thing common to Walkera products. Well, I try to trouble shoot it by double checking all the connections and even taken the brushless motor out just incase there is binding. I have the TX on and the battery install while moving wires hoping for a loose connection some where and this thing would come to life when I found the connection. After about 5 minutes or so I happen to touch the motor and notice that the motor is so hot that I cannot hold on to it.
Have no clue what is going on here, receiver bad, motor bad or controller bad. Then, on Sunday I confirm that the receiver is bad buy using another receiver to test out each servo and then test out motor and controller by itself. I found that some time the motor run full speed or totally stop there is no control of speed from slow to fast.
some time it just stop for no reason I have to pull the stick all the way back and push up again to reset and get the motor running again. Some time the motor will not run no matter if it is at full stick or not and
get very, very, hot, so hot that you cannot pick it up with your hand and this hot condition happen even when the motor is not running. From my trouble shooting I cannot determine that if the motor or the motor controller is causing this or both the controller and the motor is bad.

Any body have any tips on how to further trouble shoot the brushless motor or the controller.

Does anybody can inform about how really need to be the CG on a r/c helico ??
I guess when catching it by the head rotor, it would need to be about "centered" to it . .. or maybe a bit more in front from rotor axle.. I guess.. for better control up hovering...
but I strangely did not read any real subject about it. . .
Someone may drop smal tip about it ?

I have the #35 with brushless, 2 li-po 1900mAh batteries, and carbon fiber parts. I have not flown the #35 configured with a brushed motor or stock blades. How is it different? Was it worth the money to get these parts? Thanks!
