Hi
I'd recommend futaba GY401 or CSM420/560 you can't go wrong with either realy but i personaly find the 401 preferable

I would go for the GY401 also, we have one on our ECO 8 but you will need a decent tail servo to keep up with the gyro. The micro servos that are used are not able to keep up with the gyro.

JR500T also works well on the Eco.

I was never very impressed with the Profi.

CSM 560 is not suitable for ECO8 at all - just old, complicated and heavy. IMHO the best choice is GY401. GY240 is not so good because of missing limit setup and it is not fast enough (it simply don't let you made really fast piruette and stall turn 540 is problem as well). I have tried following gyros on my machine Ikarus Mini, Robbe 3D, GY240, GY401 (and CSM 560 I have had on Ergo) GY401 is the best of them without any discussions.

Best Regards
Pavel

i currently use a CSM 560 and dont have any problems with it, 1080 stall turns are no problem, holds well in all orientations and through loops, rolls etc etc, running it at around 55%.

I have tried CSM200, JR 410t, 401 and the CSM 560 the best were the 401 and the 560.

zapa.....

Your dead wrong on your input reguarding the piro rate of the 240. It is absolutely ballistic if setup properly. Yes you must limit the travel mechanically but if you crank up the atv's it will kick ass.

The only people that talk bad about the 240 is the people that don't know how to set em up.

After a gentleman is these very forums told me how to set up the 240 properly I was amazed. I have 401's in most everything but the one I have in my rex stays put now that I was shown the light.

Also if ANYBODY have any other doubts about the GY240, they best go to Eric Larsons site and take a lesson!!

I dont see why you cant put this gyro into your eco in all honesty after all its only a gyro.

i read somewhere (cant remember where) that someone put a GWS PG-03 Piezo Gyro into a raptor 30 and worked ok so if you can do that then im positive you will be able to put your into the eco.

if it were me id just do it.

I lost 215 pounds on the eco diet in just 3 stick movements.

I've used a GY240 and GY401 in the same machine, and the GY240 only has a pirouette rate about half that of the GY401.

Out of all the gyros mentioned, I prefer the GY401.

Well then you better go back to the setup tables in your radio son, because that 240 will pyro every bit as good as a 401.

When your turnin over 4 piro's a sec it doesn't matter anyway.

Been there done that.
