Well yet again no commitment from Robbe U.S.A. This is why Robbe is a dieing breed in North America and until Robbe Germany fixes this it will remain the same. It frustrates the hell out of me that such a fine product is not being marketed the way it should be.

What do you all think on this subject?

I think it sucks that Robbe is depending on such unreliable and unprofessional outfit as Robbe USA. I contacted Robbe Germany and provided some detailed notes on my "dealings" with Mr. Robbe USA and it got me banned from the Robbe USA web site and Germany stopped returning my messages. I gave up trying, and as much as I like my Futura SE and most of the Robbe heli line, I'm tempted to drop it due to this lack of consideration for this hobbyist.

For me I would not drop Robbe heli's, all I do is just get my parts from other places instead of Robbe U.S.A. If Paul at Robbe U.S.A would put some effort into trying to get the Robbe line of heli's back into the living catagory the public would see that they are a great product.

It is kind of disappointing that Robbe USA did not show up. Thank goodness that there are alternative places to get Robbe parts and Robbe USA is noexistent as far as I am concerned.

The problem is that while other parts-vendors have items in stock, most provide them at a much higher cost than Robbe USA does. If mother Robbe opened its eyes and gave more than just one company better US representation, it would make for a win-win solution for all involved in this hobby and supporters of Robbe products.

It's a shame that this hapning out there boys, over in the Uk we have Robbe UK ran by a chap called Keith, to be quite honest he is a fair as they come and very,very helpful and really doe's do quite well from my past exsperiences with them.

Hope you chaps in the States get it sorted.

New online store with much better prices than in the past, no shortage of parts in the past 2-3yrs and 3 new models in the past 2 yrs.

There has been some improvement and I see more coming soon.
I'm not sure what is going on in Canada but those guys are not happy campers.

Robbe USA is working hard to get Robbe back on the fields here in the USA.

Well I'm not in Canada and really don't see why folks in the UK would order anything from Robbe USA. Robbe USA is clearly run by someone that doesn't know how to properly run an online store. The site may have parts listed and many things updated about latest Robbe products, but once you order and experience the incompetent order handling, then you'll realize what some of us may be talking about. The worse part is that the parent company seems to be ignoring all of this based on their behavior and lack of response to serious matters. Robbe helis may be the greatest in the world, but if the makers don't care enough about their customers, they'll just eventually die away.

In fairness to HUI, I have never been treated wrong. But I place my order by phone so the availability is confirmed. I was disappointed when they went from a wholesaler to a retailer, I suppose there is no going back at this point.

Toledo

Afternoon All

I have been to Toledo several times, even work for a vendor there one year. I haven't been to Toledo for the last 3 years and probably won't go back. At times, it is just a mass of humanity milling about look for deals. Toledo is just another show. I can get all my information and stuff easier on line or by telephone. Attending events is also a good source of information.

How many other Helicopter vendors didn’t attend? Hmmmmmm...

All the major heli vendors were in attendance at the Toledo show except for Robbe (Min Air, Thunder Tiger, Hirobo). Robbe was there last year but failed to show up at IRCHA and now Toledo 2005. I am betting that they do not show up at IRCHA again this year.

If Robbe did not have such a loyal following and a solid product, they would be out of business by now.

Just kidding. I did not see Bergen there last year either. When I said heli vendor, I meant manufacturer/distributor representation. RR is not a heli manufacturer or distributor the last time I checked

Anyhow, I will remove myself from this debate because it does not matter what Robbe USA does, I will not be dealing with them so I will take my 2 cents back.

In my opinion I wouldn’t put Bergen in the same category as HUI...

Larry at Bergen helicopters has done so much to promote his product and has never missed a beat or any IRCHA events also Larry has always gone the extra mile for all his customers. This is the kind of Distributor I wish Paul would be, to go the extra mile for his customers, and to promote the best helicopter in my opinion.

As far as Run Ryder being at Toledo I was not aware that RR was manufacturing a helicopters now.

This thread was started for the simple reason of trying to get a response from Robbe Germany or at least Robbe U.S.A at minimum.
