Guys,

Has anyone ever used S&W Fuel for their Helicopters?

I spoke with the owner today - and he made ALOT of sense about fuel and things he told me about his products vs others (like Cool Power).

For those who have used it - let me know what you bought and how you liked it.

Thanks,

Wild Turkey

I use their 15% and 20% no problem. Used to use Byron and CP, but now the LHS sells S&W so dats what I get. Fuel is fuel, gas is gas, milk is milk, but Beer..........!

It's very good fuel. I purchase it locally from the company that makes it. He will tell you exactly what the mixes are and will custom mix for you.

For those who said they used it and "hate it", perhaps you'd care to share your experiences, or are you just bad mouthing some one elses fuel because you have a bias towards your current preference. Don't be cowards, share your info, if you have any.

I USE THE 15% IN MY RAPTOR 60. IT RUNS THE SAME AS THE COOL POWER.

OUR CLUB BOUGHT A 50 GALLON DRUM AND WE DISPERSED IT FOR 6.50 US A GALLON, PRETTY CHEAP. YOU HAD TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN CONTAINER THOUGH.

I have been using S&W for the past year. I use 15% on both my R30 & R50. I have had no problems at all. The R30 engine now has about 230 flights on it.

Switched

I was using CP15% and switched to S&W heli 15%. I saw no difference in performance or cooling abilities with the S&W and it was $3 cheaper per gallon than CP. I like the fact that S&W tells you on the lable what the oil content is. The 15% heli blend is 18% synthetic and 2% castor.

I have been using it on and off for the past few years, with the other brand being CP 30% the only thing I see different is the $7 a gallon savings. I would reccomend it to anyone

I like this new game.

Who can resurrect the oldest thread? This one is almost 10 years old. Nice move!
