There is a map on the site, and pre registration form as well.
We will be charging a one time fee of $ 10.00 to help offset some of the expense of doing this. The fee will cover both days. As was and will allways be, all food and drinks are free to all who attend. I hope this does not put anyone off, and I look forward to seeing everyone there.
We would like it if as many people as possible would pre register to make impound procedures much easier for us on Sat. 3

Yes the flying site is at one of the club fields operated by the Atlantic County Skyblazers. It is refered to as "Strawberry Fields". And it is an actual full size grass airport we are granted permission to use for the flying club. Here is a link to the Atlantic County Skyblazers web site.

If you click on the link in this site "Map to Strawberry Field it should give you directions to the site where the HELICOPTER GATHERING is held. I am not real good at posting links to maps but this should help. One of guys with our event will be putting up posts shortly that will include maps.

If you put up where Rt 322 and Rt50 cross in Mays Landing N.J. the site is two miles straight west of that intersection. Right on Rt 322 going westbound.

There is a farm market called Carmens Farm Market on 322. It is on the north side of 322 while going westbound from the intersection of 322 and 50 two miles up 322. The entrance to the event site is 100 feet past Carmens Farm Market on the right.

There is a sign right at the entrance to the field with a picture of "Smokey The Bear" on it. That is the actual entrance to the site, right at the Smokey sign 100 feet past Carmens Farm Market.

Again, there will be maps posted soon by others that will mark the site spot where the HELICOPTER GATHERING is held. I hope my directions helped you some. If you come down the Atlantic City Expressway to Mays Landing N.J., then back track on Rt 322 westbound, that would probably be the best way for you to come down from Phila.

Hi Bob,

Looks like another GREAT Event is just around the corner.

Is the Chef that cooked those wonderful hamburgers going to be on duty this year. Yummy!!!!!!

Had a wonderful time last year and can't wait for the fun this year.

You are lucky that you have a good group of friends and pilots that all work together to put on unforgetable Heli events.

Hi John,

You bet all those guys will be there helping out again. Even more. We have cooked up some new surprises for the HELICOPTER GATHERING this year. Can't let anyone go home without thinking "WOW". Now that was great RC helicopter event and worth the trip.

It will be good to see you again John. How about some of those guys here last year, can they fly these RC helicopters or what? And they were all a nice bunch to hang with too. Everyone who attended helped everyone else with their RC helicopters. No nonsense, no favorites, and no crap. Just great fun and excitment both days.

Those guys Alan and Danny Szabo, what can I say? These two are like seeing fine art when you watch them go with these things. They are both decent people, and were helpful to everyone who asked for help. Both a credit to this hobby, and to their father and mother. Alan Sr. is a prince of a guy to talk with. It is our pleasure to have them all here at the GATHERING with us.

Alan is connected to these things. He uses 100 percent of what an RC helicopter has to offer for performance. I'll bet his brother Danny is getting pretty dam good by now as well.

Just from the feedback we are getting so far, we will have a huge group of helicopters GATHERING this year. The more the better. Just need a bigger truck with more food. Run some extra cooks and grills this year. No body is hungry. As you know we all eat pretty good there.

This event is designed for regular RC helicopter sport flyer's, just like you and me. The only requirement is bring that passion we all share for these things with you to the HELICOPTER GATHERING. The rest is supplied.

What the hell, you, me, and I'll bet about all of the people who come will not wish they spent another day at work as life closes down. I wish now I had played more instead of working all the time. Well, I am making up for it now. Living up to my assumed name.

Hi Bob,

Sounds like it's going to be awesome this year. Maybe I'll bring some friends.

Everything is well so far. I've been keeping in touch a little bit with Jeff, in fact I'm going to see him soon so I can tune up my gear.

The flying is getting there. Just need to fly more regulary now that the weather is nice. I'm just crusing around the front yard we have but I'm going to have to go down the road to the baseball field since I need more room ;-).

What the hell.

Everyone who comes to the GATHERING truly has a great time with RC helicopters, and with others who fly them.

That is the only reason we come to the HELICOPTER GATHERING.

We each share the same passion, RC helicopters. Nothing more.

That is what these things are all about anyway.

I am just dam glad it all works out so well every year.

This HELICOPTER GATHERING is for the flyer's just like you and me.

We all GATHER to simply share the thrill and excitement these things give to us all.

I am like a kid in a candy store just being there, like everyone else.

No hype and no agenda.

The GATHERING is just a place and a reason for people like us to let it all hang out with RC helicopters.

Got some really neat surprises for everyone to see and do this year too.
