This is my first century, and so far the project of building it is going nicely.

But I've got a question about the way the fuel tank is situated.

IF you are flying with the tail facing you and you were to take a hart right, the clunk in the tank would be exposed if your fuel level was low. THE reason is because the tank is installed sideways.

OK, so it this the reason why when I see so many other pilots with this ship, they all have a header tank???

My last heli did not have this, the fuel tank was facing forward??

Am I thinking too much??? or do I just have the UPGRADE FEVER???

Yours,

I recomend you to install a Header Tank. The purpose of the Header Tank is to prevent the engine sip air bubbles when you are doing some Pirouetes.

Dont fly the heli without one! www.heliproz.com sell a nice Header Tank with a anodized braket for around $14.oo http://www.heliproz.com/DBCheaders.html

Header Tank mounting

All,
I will be posting pics of my Falcon SE II with all the upgrades and the like on Monday. Let me say that you all will be impressed.

It flies like I want it to!!!

Now, I have my header tank mounted ABOVE the main tank using one of the lower frame bolts that goes into the upper frame. The engine goes a tad rich once it gets on the header with this configuration which is just fine to me. I would rather the engine richen up than lean out.

I have noticed no adverse affects on sustained inverted hovers so it seems to work fine there.

I am using the T&T Aluminum brackets with a Hayes 2oz tank, OS .50 SX-H, Raptor 50 muffler, & OS #8 plug on CP 30%. Flight time is 10 minutes on the main tank.
