From what I can see on the link looks like it's tail drive is similar to the eco 8 so no driven tail in an auto.
I could be wrong. the caption is really vague.

looks like it took some "Logo10 Extram" design????

i dont think the $199-$249 will be killer for logo10 ($299)

when compare the parts quality
"Made in German" and "Made in Taiwan" i will still stay with Logo10
for $50 differece
and when you spend $2000+ on battery ESC Motor why save $50 on a kit??

also if you think it can compare with logo14 ...take look how strong logo14 chassic first ~~

i knew the logo maybe little pricy but remember you pay for what you get the Corolla will never come close to M-Benz!! but if the price gone up to make Toyota becoming "Lexus" then its another story!!

Willie How did you made the math?

Hi Willie,

The logo 10 basic kit cost 339$
Crash kit for the logo 10 cost 102$

I know that it is dificult to compare Mercedes with Toyota
but not everything that made in germany is mercedes,

first lets see the swift if it worth somthing and then decide if you can compare it to the logo 10

I guess that the swift will sell more than logo 10 just becouse of the price I hope that the performance will be good

I hope we all earn somthing from it if it is good performance or that the competitors will reduce the price fot electric Helis

I am still waiting to the announcment that it can be orderd

Thanks Avner

no problem

I am excited about parts avalibility, at a cheap price.

$$ is what does it for me I think most heli's fly close to the same so long as they have the mechanical ability .

As for Logo chassic You pay alot for what is realy there. weight has got to be cut some were?

any way I hope its out soon.

well no problem everybody get their own opinion

if you talking about crash cost i think the logo parts is just ok (not too cheap not too much) the current mikado US importer now keeps parts
well.
just wondering have you really own a logo before?
since i had a logo10 and now have a logo14 (i also have a Hirobo EVO50) the crash cost is not that bad

the logo have the hardernd main and spendle shaft i never bent those one yet and the fly bar is same size as 30-50 nitro mechine ...
i cant see why you have to buy crash kit every time

you cant really compare the logo14 with this swift since the logo14 has full Carbon chassic and thats why its so pricy
the swift is using resin parts and we all knew that it will never be as strong as Carbon. if you expact heavy 3D you need Carbon chassic
to keep it light & strong

and i knew not everything that made in germany is mercedes
but i have been seen Hawk and Raven my self and i am sorry
i have to say that the parts quality just dont turn me on its still
behind the Hirobo and Mikado quality

and again when you spend at last $2000-2500 on whole thing
does $100 (4-5%) really matter to you???
just like when you buy a fancy sports car will you try to save
$1000 for a sunroof option ????

My self I want to know all about this heli before I make any judgments on if it's a LOGO killer, and who cares For peats sake!
It will have a place and Im sure there will be some upgrades to follow in true Century style.

oh well
i think we all should try to talk more nicely otherwise its kind childish

anyway here is some point about this "swift" by myself
of course you can disagree

first i am not trying to against it but for my past experience

those kind chassic design wont hold the G-Force apply on it during
heavy 3D unless you using Carbon (the logo10 stock chassic dont hold well either thats why Mikado release logo10 carbon!)
dont get me wrong for sure the Raptor and EVO will fly 3D nice
by Plastic chassic but please look how "thick" they are
and how thick this swift chassic ?!?!? i own a EVO and also seem
a Raptor and a Raven after i seem the swift pic i am little worry
those kind design wont hold it

the Raptor and Raven convorted EP heli will weight at last 8lb more
Gary's Boxed E-Raptor weight 8.2lb and an Plastic-chassic E-Raven
weight at last 9lb some carbon chassic E-Raven weight 8lb

and a Logo14 only weight 6.2lb the weight for E-Heli is everthing
if you owned a E-heli before you will know what i am talking about

what i mean before is if you are spend lot money on
power system why not get a good chassic on it just like if you drive a 350hp Correvt and put cheap tires on it ???? sounds like nuts for me!!

but if they change the design some way or put the carbon chassic upgrade on it may be perform good !! we will see later

at last i think its always good to have more choice on the market
and Mikado may reduce the price but i am sorry to say that the Century product just cant get me interested maybe they are not cheap enough compare to others (Raven vs EVO vs Raptor)??

3000Gt what do you expect ? you come into the Century Forum with a bunch of rhetoric about Logos, you are obviously Pro-Logo and Anti-Century.
Try to give this heli a chance to be born before you use your obviously clairvoyant engineering skills to declare it a failure.

BTW A raven can be converted simply, without much work, and will weigh under 8.5 lbs. Check this home-brew by Fred Bronk. The s
http://www.rotorworks.net/viewtopic.php?t=777

The Swift is aimed to compete with the logo 10 market. Remember the Logo 14 costs $700us and needs a $$ tail upgrade right from the start for the tail to hold together.

Odd comparison. I would think a more logical comparison for cheap tires on a heli would be wood blades versus carbon fiber.

Care to have your logo 14's clock cleaned by a 8.5 lb Raven 50 conversion ? see you at Burnaby

Hi Greg
i think Canada is free country right? everyone have right to speak!!
i have to say that again "i am just trying to telling my point of view"
i am not Pro-Logo or Anti-Century (even i dont really like the way they
do business thats all).

what do i expact?? nothing since here is "country Forum"
and i am pretty sure it wont get hurt before it to be born
by my single word. so what are you worry about my words?
also i will be more happy to see this Swift making Mikado to drop their price !!

the logo14 tail bearing set is $33 USD and the street price is $599 not
$700 please do the home work before you speak
a raven kit plus those carbon kit upgrade wont be too far by that price tag the logo14 come out 6.2lb out of box with "no work"

Odd comparison??? i just want to make it easier to understand
but i am pretty sure that the person as smart as you will know what i am talking about.

oh well ~~ we have same size 600 blade same Tango motor and same 10s battery but i am still 2lb+ lighter than you so what do you want to prove? the logo has better power to weight ratio and its hard to beat by glow convertion

i knew you are a better polit than me so far(our memebr saw you on our feild last month) but it just doesnt prove anything for your E-Raven

maybe it will make more sense if we compare the Logo14 flew by Andy Rummer and E-Raptor flew by Alan Szabo

anyway i am still looking forward to see you on burnaby feild
during weekend sometimes i am sure your E-Raven is a good bird to fly!!!

I'm thinking Tango 45-10 and CC 80 at this point.

Maybe outrunner though....Getting geared up!

Trying to get a feel for the pack.....
Maybe a 4S or some sort.
CC80 is a given.....I already have one.
Motor is up in the air totally right now. Will have to buy one. Space will be tight I imagine, so an outrunner may be difficult.

No problem on the outrunner space. I have talked to the test pilot about it.

Budget setup might be a Mega with the CC 80 on a 4s3p and the smackdown would be a Tango 45-10 or Neu 15 series. With those I'd go 6s2p

I'm getting outfitted soon...

That is exactly the setup I'm going to go with. I've got the 45-10 and the CC PH-80. When I get the Swift kit I'll order the 6S2P packs. Performance calculations look VERY good with this setup.
