Not as sought after as the Predator and Spectra-G.

Thought I'd post a pic, maybe some build pics as I go if people are interested.

There's no English version of the GSR manual but if you have the Voyager GS manual you can cross-referece. Only real differences are on the bolt sizes, and a couple extra parts.

They're available from John at Air Foyl. I don't know if he sells them alone, though.

assembled main frames.

This was sweet! All the holes lined up no "fine tuning". Frames a bit beefier then the old X-cell.

Note: If you didn't know it already, this is not a 3d machine like the Predator and the Spectra. This machine will be pressed into use as a workhorse cameraship.

Thanks, I'll check into those.

Gonna call tomarrow , I still need to order the radio gear, and muffler upgrade. I had skipped the carb and muffler install pending upgrades.

Way ahead of ya on the landing gear. The teeny tiny set screws for the skids didn't look up to the task of hauling a payload so mine got a nice dose of JB weld inside the joints.

The GSR comes with REALLY TALL landing gear for whatever "industrial" uses people have for it. The MA gasser skids will fit if you want nice black gear. I just cut 7 inches off each leg of the stock gear and it's still 3/4 inch taller then the MA gear.

A friend of mine has one of these, for a camera ship.

He has repaired his landing gear with aluminum tubing from Lowe's, and you cannot tell the difference..

It is quite a stable machine. He also found blades relatively cheap at heliproz.

He runs two battery packs. He has a minor vibration, and thinks it stemms from not adequately setting the runout on the clutch spindle.

Great machine. Sure flies smooth.

I may not be able to turn a kit into a plane, but I can turn a plane into a kit...

When I put the motor in it was ever so slightly off, I'm talking a 1/4th of a mm. I almost left it but I couldn't take it. I went back and adjusted it untill it was perfect. Would have nagged at me every time I flew it

You've made the right choice!

I love my GSR 260, it is very smooth! So smooth that I had to have two Running governors on both.

Here's mine:

GSR 260 next to my 90 size Vigor CS

GSR 260 Head

GSR 260 Open Tail

She's smooth!!
