My Posts This: Topic Forum | OK, kinda heated debate going on here. Here's my take (as a Quick 60 pro owner - not a neighbour, sisters dog or anyome else !)
I bought a Quick 60 Pro about 2 years ago - yeah from HHI. had a few build issues, bearings didn't fit in the frames without the assistance of a Dremmell, tail blades didn't fit in the holders etc.... nothing real big. The PDF manual was pretty good, yeah, could have done with a few more closeup's but how many heli's come with an electronic instruction manual ?
Well, i've been through afew gallons on my Nexus 30 and now play around with a T-Rex 450x 'lectric (lots of fun without the nitro hassles) and the '60 is 99% built. Despite the warnings of imminent death by one of this post's contributors, i'm close to giving the Quick 60 a run - will make sure the only head that will be lost is mine !
Sure looks like a well assembled aircraft, will post what happenened when it took to the air....
After all this time , my Q60 won't head for the trash can until it proves it deserves it.
Have heard a lot over the years on forums about the whole Quick - HHI - Irwin issue, i'll reserve comment until the the thing is airborne..
