Hi guys,

Well, got it all together tonight, and spun it up to see how everything worked. I am still concerned on setup before trying to actually lifting off. I have mounted the heli on to a lazy susan ( a base that will spin freely with the heli ) to test the gyro. Good thing, did not notice before I put it on here , but one of my servo's needed reversed. That would have been real sweet, pull up and boom straight down. This thing is much faster than I am used to with my Piccolo, but alot of it is probably just the size difference. I think I will get a set of training gear to play it safe.

Anyways, just curious about pitch and throttle settings for the neu motor 1105/3y. What do you guys have your settings at for this motor. I am running a stock setup and weigh approx. 650 grams.

As usual, thanks for your input...

Johnny

Why use a HS-55 on the tail? Why not the HS-50 then? HS-50 is a lot faster and should hold your tail better.

I have the same motor and pinion.
My settings are pretty simple to keeps things linear.

Normal pitch: 30-50-100 (you can flatten the curve more around the hover point so it is more stable vertically)
Normal throttle: 0-80-80

Mode 1 pitch: 0-50-100
Mode 1 throttle: 80-80-80

Mode 2 pithc: 0-50-100
Mode 2 throttle: 90-90-90
