After many inpatiant seconds of waiting for the rotor to slow down upon landing(gyro issues) i realized why on full size helis they
have a round cap on the very top of the main shaft. SLOWING THE SPINNING BLADES DOWN QUICKER.
or mabye also inverted touches .
anyways came up with a quick sexy and easily removiable add on.

just a circle of CF, or plastic and some type of spacer (i used a servo arm) that will allow the blade
pitch balls to reach their maximum..
-you can't just glue the circle to the top of the rotor.
---it would only allow you to get 2 degrees of positive pitch

looks kind of cool

but it also looks like glues a carbon fiber cutoff wheel to it. would the edges of the carbon not tear the sking of your hand while traveling a 1,500+ rpm? good idea though :-)

I prefer to put on the throttle hold and then give full pitch. This way i don't get bit by the blades. But i must admit i use the finger to slow the blades down on the rex.

stole it from the 2005 ama convention in pasadena. from the CFC stand. (actually it cost me 5 dollars for this 7 in round CF disk and a .050 size carbon rod)

i also use throttle hold and full pitch but it still takes 10 seconds to come to a stop..
