Thanks BC Don for the tip. When I took off the faceplate, there were markings underneath for "off" and "on" as well.

Not that its anything to write home about....but check out my gallery. I posted a few pics of the build so far. I got a lot of help and advice from board members..but I did all the building myself...so I guess I can toot my horn just a little. (very little) I also included a picture with my "little girl."

Yes indeed very little

The flybar paddle on the right in this picture should be facing the other way. Note their direction on my heli:

See? They both have to face different ways to rotate correctly. Otherwise everyting else looks good. Make sure the flybar control arms are facing the correct side of the rotor head:

Thanks NewHeli. I found the problem with the paddles later, and fixed it. The blades turn clockwise, and the thicker edge of the paddles should be forward.

The flybar control arms both connect to a push rod which connects right below them to balls on the swash plate assembly...I hope. At least thats where I put them

I had a hell of a time with that. I don't have the paddles aligned yet...hoping you might help me with that when we get together.

I didn't CA or loctite anything in the rotor head assembly until you look at it FunkyFlyer.

You can just eye-ball it, you don't need any fancy equipment.

Check out my gallery there are some more pictures of my rotor head.

No offense meant...just make sure you don't fly it like that
