Are you after a picture of the inside? I have one but its nicely installed on my BRAND NEW E3. If your after an outside piccy that would be easily accomplished.

smex - thanks, but the newer hub uses the same, older style bearing, and this is what i am after.

the hub shown on Jason chan's is the older E3 WC hub.

thanks !

OK, got the unit out, took off the gears, and the inner race of the one way. But took one look at the bearings and im sorry, there is no way im pulling out the bearings from their holder. I did actually try, but they are a very snug fit. SO took some photos, but no idea if they are of any use.
Just need to link em here now.

That looks like the normal round OD bearing that everyone else uses, pressed into the hub. Does this mean the serrated OD bearing set-up has been replaced?

Looks like a normal Freya (plastic/metal hub) to me, whats behind the oneway bearing is the difference. It should be using #2500-048 (as 'all' the other Hirobos does).

Looks like the new EX has been de-blinged. All my previous EX machines have had a CNC alloy hub. ARE HIROBO NOW COST CUTTING in the top end kits?

I think if that plastic hub came with the EX3 it's either a mistake or Hirobo are cost-cutting (which I personally doubt). I think it must be a mistake. I would check with Irvine, the Hirobo importer in the UK.

Black metal? I need some glasses That's not normall for Hirobo. As we all know we usually get polished alloy or blue bling. Wonder why the change?
